About Us

We have a combined experience of over 45 years in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation both in the NHS and private sector.  Our holistic and patient centred  approach is aimed not only at treating your ailment, but by spending time with you we aim to show you how to prevent the problem happening again.  Prompt treatment can mean shorter recovery time and less time away from work or activity.

Physiotherapy is the orthodox treatment in a world where there are growing numbers of complementary medicine.  We ensure that we are up to date with NICE clinical guidelines for the conditions we treat and keep abreast of current clinical research.  We are committed to Continuing Professional Development and regularly attend courses to further our knowledge and expand our skill set.

We are recognised by all major private health companies.

Whatever your age or problem there is always something we can do to assist.

At Excel Physiotherapy we believe that Rehabilitation is a vital part of treatment, ensuring full recovery and preventing recurrence of injuries. As part of your treatment you will be given a clear program of exercises designed to help you to not just recover from your injury, but move forwards, being stronger and with a better understanding of injury prevention. Rehabilitation is not just for the sporting patients but is highly relevant to spinal pain, repetitive strain injuries, postural weakness and loss of general mobility.

At Excel Physiotherapy we are fortunate to have access to a well equipped gym and beautiful swimming pool where patients can have individually tailored programs to continue with under supervision and independently. Referred patients can enjoy a short term membership of the Audley Club in order to fully rehabilitate their injury.
